Pastors Josh and Hope Butcher have a heart to reach the Hampton Roads region and beyond with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. 

Pastor Josh has previously served on staff at two other churches in a variety of roles. He has spoken around the country at different churches, seminars, and events. In addition to his role at Vertical Church, Pastor Josh serves as an Assistant Group Leader in the Next Level Relational Network. He also loves playing fantasy football.

Pastor Hope leads and serves alongside Josh, specifically in the area of worship ministry. Hope, coming from a multi-generational, ministry-based family, has a long lineage of pastors, worship leaders, and preachers. That heritage has served her and Josh well. 

Pastors Josh and Hope have five children, and they live in Chesapeake, VA.
